The food here was okay. The buffet was continually refilled and kept fresh which was great.

Being new resident's, we decided to try out some of the local restaurants. Tried Gillies for the smorg. With the first bite, could taste the aluminum cookware. Food tasted like it had been cooked up and then re-warmed. Could taste the S.O.S. scouring pad in the food. It was dry, overcooked. Health Canada put a warning out about aluminum cookware over a decade ago. as it is extremely hazardous for cooking for human or pet consumption. I'm sure this restaurant would know this. Do NOT recommend anyone eat there, as we both had severe digestion after the meal. All we can say to this is, the waitresses were great.
